One...

How do you put something into words when there are no words? This week, I stood at the birthplace of the American Dream in Philadelphia at the First Bank of the United States and the Museum of the American Revolution surrounded by history, possibility, and purpose. To share that moment with my friend Oprah Winfrey, the #1 honoree on the Forbes 250 Greatest Living Self-Made Americans list, was deeply meaningful. Twenty years ago, appearing on The Oprah Winfrey Show changed my life. Today, I am honored to call her a friend. Sharing the stage with Chris Gardner, hearing the stories of extraordinary entrepreneurs, and witnessing the power of women who are helping shape the future of our economy reminded me that this American story is still being written. From homeless in South Central Los Angeles to the Forbes 250. From the streets to the suites. This honor is bigger than me. It belongs to every ancestor who dreamed of opportunity, every mentor who opened a door, and every person working to build a better future. Thank you to Forbes for this incredible recognition. Hanging with my friend @kevincliffordracing and his @offleashmotorsports at @roadatlanta today for @gt4america — and even though Kevin’s teammate was run off at 10A, and the Racecar ultimately had a mechanical, Kevin’s driving during his short stint once again underscored his natural gifts of quickness, resiliency and never giving him. Next time guys. And a special thank you to his amazing mom Donna Lee, who was out supporting her son and doing the most. Kudos to our friend and fellow pro driver @jeanfrancoisbrunot — who on this day helped Kevin and team as race strategist. Let’s go….

A powerful few weeks of fellowship, friendship, and purpose. From spending time with NFL star Demario Davis and Chase Koch, to sharing moments with the legendary Wolfgang Puck in New York City, to celebrating alongside Sarah Friar, CFO of OpenAI, and her husband David Riley at the Ellis Island Medal Awards, these are the moments that remind me that relationships are still the ultimate currency.
