Monique Laguerre, who called Operation HOPE after hearing about our work on CNN. At the time she was in the middle of her third unsuccessful attempt for a loan modification. After working with one of our assigned mortgage counselors, she not only captured the attention of her previously uncooperative bank, but was accepted into a temporary loan modification program.
