America's Public Schools by the Numbers

The macro economics are 100,000 schools total in America.
Approximately 15 million kids in high school, and approproximately 15 million kids in middle school, and approximately 20 million kids in K-4th, for a total of approximately 50 million total K-12 in America.
Of the 50 million:
 
55% are white
17% are black
21% are Hispanic
7% are Asian/Native American
