FL4A Leaders Gather at Nasdaq to Map the Next Chapter of Financial Literacy for All

On October 26, the Financial Literacy for All community came together at Nasdaq for the 2026 FL4A Meeting, a day of breakout conversations built around every stage of life.

On October 26, members of the Financial Literacy for All (FL4A) community filled a room at Nasdaq for the 2026 FL4A Meeting. FL4A is a ten-year initiative launched in 2020 on a simple conviction: financial literacy belongs in everyday American life, within reach of people where they live, work and celebrate. Walmart, Bank of America, Delta Air Lines, The Walt Disney Company, the NFL, the NBA, PayPal, Walgreens Boots Alliance, Khan Academy, and Ares Management are among its founding members, and this gathering brought the people behind that commitment to the same tables.

The day opened with a welcome and an FL4A update, including a word on Ed Bastian, CEO of Delta Air Lines, who became co-chair of the initiative in February. A guest speaker followed, and then the room turned to the real work of the day: how a coalition this size can move together.

Four Stages of Life, Four Conversations

The heart of the meeting was a set of breakout sessions organized by age. Each group asked what people in that season of life need most, and where the gaps are.

  • Future Ready (ages 0 to 17): Participants talked about reaching children early, helping parents model good money habits without shame, making learning fun, and countering the misinformation young people meet on social media.
  • Next Generation (ages 18 to 36): The conversation covered payment apps, thin credit files, safe and affordable lending, simulation-based learning, and pathways into careers as financial advisors.
  • Prime (ages 37 to 67): The group focused on unexpected life events, starting financial planning late, rising healthcare costs for parents and children at once, and the role of employer programs.
  • Legacy (ages 68 and older): Fraud and scams led the discussion, including AI deepfakes, alongside practical tools like a family safe word, wills, life insurance and a certified CPA.

Every room filled its flip charts, and those pages became the raw material for the closing session, What’s Next Together, where members looked at how partners can combine their reach and resources in the year ahead.

Financial literacy is a long game, and the people in these photos are the ones playing it. Thank you to every FL4A member organization, and to our hosts at Nasdaq, for giving this work a home for the day. We will keep sharing what comes out of these conversations.
