Black Enterprise honored me at its 2025 XCEL Summit for Men in Orlando, alongside men whose work I have admired for years.

I told the audience I think of myself as an economic plumber for the Black community. Most people never see the plumbing, but nothing in the house works without it. My job is to build the pipes: financial literacy, credit, capital and ownership.
