This week I was honored to spend some quality time backstage with the legendary guys in our Atlanta, at The New Edition Way Tour – Bootcamp – 10 day countdown, before they blast off in Oakland, Ca, on January 28th, with Boyz II Men and Ms. Toni Braxton. It’s going to be EPIC.
As my new friend Ronnie DeVoe (founding member of New Edition and Bell Biv DeVoe) told me recently, “we absolutely love our fans, here and around the world, but it’s not just about what we do on stage anymore — it’s about aligning ourselves with people of substance, such as yourself and others, to make sure we cement our legacy, frame our future, and positively impact the communities that have supported us. Gift + Talent = Purpose.”
I have been impressed with Ronnie from the day I met him late last year. Not just impressed with the outer man, but what I discerned about the inner man too. And the way he thought — like a businessman. One who like me, loves real estate. He even took the time to become credentialed and real estate licensed.
I was deeply honored to meet, talk and hang with these great men of God, musical genius and talent, as they hone their craft for what’s coming next. To and for you. 🦅
