Days after the Paycheck Protection Program opened, I joined CNBC’s Squawk Box to talk about who was getting the relief money and who was being left behind.

A loan program that runs through existing bank relationships reaches the businesses without a banker last. Too many Black-owned businesses fall into that group, and the virus was already hitting African American communities hard. We had to move faster for the people at the bottom of the pyramid.
