Rev. Al Sharpton, founder and president of National Action Network, invited me to sit with him for a fireside chat on the NAN stage as the organization marked 35 years.

Civil rights opened the doors. Silver rights, the right to understand money and to own something, is how we walk through them. That is the message I carried onto that stage, and I am grateful to Rev. Sharpton for making room for it.
