Every December, HOPE Global Forums brings leaders from business, government, faith and community to Atlanta. Our 2025 Annual Meeting was built around one idea: future proofing.
By 2030, the biggest issue in most people’s lives will be artificial intelligence. That is why we used the Forum to launch HOPE AI, a national strategy for financial and AI literacy, with The Dream Machine, Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, 100 Black Men of America, UNCF and Shopify. HOPE Inside AI puts trained coaches in our locations to help people use AI responsibly, at no cost.
We also released the first annual report of the AI Ethics Council, which I co-chair with Sam Altman. The Council exists to make sure AI expands dignity, opportunity and economic freedom for everyone.
My own charge to the room was practical. Leave with a plan to get your credit score to 700 and a strategy for homeownership, because those are the foundations that hold when everything else changes. Roland Martin’s Black Star Network carried the Forum, and this segment captures the urgency.
