Profit with Purpose: Redefining Capitalism with Joshua Motta — Money & Wealth with John Hope Bryant
Joshua Motta and John Hope Bryant on Money & Wealth.

Joshua Motta went from cyber intelligence analyst at the CIA to co-founder of Coalition, one of the largest cyber insurance companies in the world. He protects the digital economy for a living, and he built a very large business doing it with purpose at the center.

I wanted him on the show for two reasons. First, because almost nobody understands how insurance actually works, and Joshua explains it beautifully: flood and renters coverage, reinsurance, and now AI-driven risk. Second, because he is proof that you can redefine what a capitalist looks like without giving up an ounce of ambition.

We talk about integrity as a business strategy, technology as a public good, and what financial resilience means for a family and for a company. This is a master class in leadership and innovation, and a reminder that the future of wealth is rooted in purpose.
