States were starting to reopen in May 2020. Many small business owners still could not reach the aid that was supposed to carry them through. I went back on CNBC’s Squawk Box to talk about how America recovers.
My answer was simple. Give temporary stimulus to the people at the bottom, because they spend it right away in their own neighborhoods. That money moves through local businesses and back into the economy.
