U.S. Department of the Treasury and President's Advisory Council on Financial Literacy Update

MoneyMath: Lessons for Life Launch

On February 27, 2008, the U.S. President’s Advisory Council on Financial Literacy will publicly launch the newly revised "Money Math: Lessons for Life," which integrates personal finance into core mathematics for middle school students, at a special announcement event in Washington, D.C.

A special thank you to Citi for their support here, as well as Dan Iannicola and his team at the U.S. Department of the Treasury Office of Education.

As chairman Charles Schwab and I have said at the inaugural meeting just last week, the President’s Council will be about action and results, on the ground and impacting people’s lives.

Onward with HOPE,

John Hope Bryant

Vice Chairman, U.S. President’s Advisory Council on Financial Literacy

Chairman, Operation HOPE
